{"id":99,"date":"2014-01-21T01:08:58","date_gmt":"2014-01-21T01:08:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thegraylinghiddentruthpoems.com\/blog\/?p=99"},"modified":"2014-01-21T01:08:58","modified_gmt":"2014-01-21T01:08:58","slug":"looking-forward-into-the-future-to-help-others-and-looking-back-at-the-past-when-living-was-most-troubled-written-by-cheryl-freier-author-and-illustrator","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thegraylinghiddentruthpoems.com\/blog\/looking-forward-into-the-future-to-help-others-and-looking-back-at-the-past-when-living-was-most-troubled-written-by-cheryl-freier-author-and-illustrator\/","title":{"rendered":"Looking Forward Into The Future To Help Others And Looking Back At The Past When Living Was Most Troubled, written by Cheryl Freier, author and illustrator"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"center\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Looking Forward Into The Future And Looking Back At The Past<\/span><\/em>, written by Cheryl Freier, author and illustrator<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I attended a local lecture recently, which was given by Dr Jack Leitner, M.D. on his recent trip toEcuador.\u00a0 My first thoughts were, \u201cHow thrilling to be a part of a new frontier\u201d.\u00a0 Yes, the doctor and all of the others who tended to patients for their stay of time are the new frontiersmen.\u00a0 They are helping people who live in desolate areas of the world by diagnosing, preventing, and using modern medicines and techniques to help these indigenous people.\u00a0 I am amazed at the total story, which started with a plane ride over theAndesMountains, up into the air and higher up several thousands of feet, and the setting up useable medical equipment in an area that had no previous medical equipment, medical facilities, or even sanitary plumbing conditions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As I left the lecture, I remembered thinking that my husband, Martin, was exposed to these same \u2018primitive\u2019 conditions during WWII.\u00a0 He and his family survived, but a key to their survival was treating the situation as the \u2018primitive situation\u2019 as it was.\u00a0 They carved their own fishing poles and fished the waters of theSlovakianMountains.\u00a0 They made fire the same way as primitive people had done centuries before, by rubbing two twigs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I am happy to hear of an effort of a reversal of difficult life trends and the use of modern medicines to help some of these less fortunate people.\u00a0 To learn more about my husband\u2019s miraculous story of survival, read:\u00a0 <em>The Grayling Hidden Truth Poems<\/em>, <em>The Wild Grasses Hidden Truth Poems<\/em>, <em>The Day Of The Hidden Truth Poems:\u00a0 In Memoriam To Martin Freier<\/em>, and <em>Blossoms Around The Circles Hidden Truth Poems<\/em>.\u00a0 Why not live the life of a character vicariously?\u00a0 \u00a0Cheryl Freier is the author of these novels, which are listed on Amazon.com and Barnes &amp;
