…..”For Moses in the Bible did all he could for his people,
But the Lord thought it best that he should stand on a tall mountain
And watch all of his people go down from the mountains and the wilderness,
And find joy in this remarkable accomplishment.
I must remember other thoughts when I feel the moment seize me for grieving.
Who will live and who will die this year is always recited as part of the Yom Kippur prayers.
So be it me, the one of the pair of us who was chosen to be alone,
Would the reason be that the angels have chosen him for another important mission?
Under the clouds with the guidance of the angels, he will follow their training
And will become another person. He will be young again,
And grace the winds of where he lives and sail the seas of discontent to find a
a better way of thinking. He will create a new land
Which will rule for justice for all….”
