Greed Is The Title of One Of Martin Freier’s Poems
The poem on the concept of greed that Martin Freier wrote reads like this:
“Like a weed, greed spreads its seed.
Its appetite grows without end in sight.
Why this is so nobody knows.
Lodged deep within some men and women,
It is a craving, an urge for more,
Again and again……”

These Are The Poetic Words Of Martin Freier

Posted by cheryl - July 18th, 2015

Poetry From the Book, The Day Of The Hidden Truth Poems
Phenomenal poetry written by Martin Freier who was a survivor of the Nazi Holocaust. Here are some of her words:
“..Too late do we realize
We’re only part of life’s game.
Here today. Gone tomorrow—
a little joy; lots of sorrow.
Life disappears
Like a summer breeze.
Sooner or later the time or reckoning
Is beckoning.
Until then keep up we must
Or we end up in the dust.”

Martin Freier Wrote The Poems In The Book The Day Of The Hidden Truth Poems: Martin Freier Was A Survivor Of The Nazi Holocaust

Posted by cheryl - July 9th, 2015

Martin Freier Wrote The Poems In The Book The Day Of The Hidden Truth Poems
Martin Freier Was A Survivor Of The Nazi Holocaust In Slovakia
I thought when I presented Martin’s book of poetry, Hidden Truth Poems, into the book The Day Of The Hidden Truth Poems that there were only three poems in the collection written about the World War II. The Holocaust situation in Nazi Slovakia had affected every man, woman, or child living in the country. I have just realized that Martin’s writing of poems on death is virtually writing about death and dying in the Holocaust. For a most powerful reading experience and memorable reading experience, read the book The Day Of The Hidden Truth Poems.
In Martin’s poem, The Shadow Of Death, he writes:
“The Shadow of Death
Keeps following us wherever we wander
Every day,
Making our future far too uncertain,
Spoiling things for us in every way”
