The complete story of young David is generally not know. He had a very hard time growing up, but he managed to forebear and eventually he became a King of Isreal, This is quite a triumph to read about and also the illustrations are precise and very colorful and help to illustrate the main idea in the book: that G-d chooses for a King of Israel a man who is full of heart and soul and righteousness.
