Anna’s Christmas Hidden Truth Poems tells the story of the Freier family who were caught in the throes of the Second World War in Nazi-occupied Slovakia. “The Nazis are coming to select all of the remaining Jews living in Micolovce”. The Freiers escaped to the woods and this is their story about what happened on December of 1944 – on one Christmas night. It is a most powerful story of brotherhood and love. An excellent choice for reading.
